Hong Kong Culturtainment Festival - The Love Story of Sam and Sally (戀愛輕飄飄) musical

We are pleased to have supported production company Have a Good Day in presenting the inaugural Hong Kong Culturtainment Festival (香港娛樂及演藝文化節), which comprises an assortment of 12 programs ranging from concerts of HK pop singers, drama, documentaries, musicals, Cantonese opera, film screenings and workshops featuring HK talents.
One of the programs we supported was ‘The Love Story of Sam and Sally’ presented by Actors' Family. A Hong Kong-style romantic comedy combined with pop songs and witty dialogues, the musical was about the story of love lost and found in the city - Sam and Sally met in university, fell in love but later separated. Despite different subsequent life paths, Sam and Sally kept seeing each other again. True love eventually tied them together as they realised they were born for each other.
Having toured in over 14 cities and countries, including Macao, Shenzhen, Guangzhou, Shanghai, Xi'an, Kuala Lumpur, and most recently, Sydney, the musical has touched the hearts of thousands of audience as each of them found resonance with the characters and reflected on their own views on life and love. In Singapore, the two-day shows have attracted a total of 950 audience.
